I run a small holding/I am a small home producer - can I continue to operate?

From 11th February, lone workers who are not considered essential workers may return to their place of work if:

  • They are the only person present on the premises; and
  • They have no physical contact with colleagues, customers or clients.

You must not open your premises to the public for general trading, but you may be able to fulfil and deliver or dispatch orders received online as long as you can undertake this work without any contact with other individuals, whether colleagues, customers or clients. This work must be undertaken by a lone worker.

At this time, we would ask that business models are not adapted to fit in with the guidance and that you carefully consider the Guernsey Together spirit before you start selling products.
