Please take an LFT before attending any health and care facility, including the CVC, PEH campus, any GP practice or nursing/residential care home.
The Princess Elizabeth Hospital will test:
Routine attenders or visitors to the PEH, including blue channel visitors to the island, are not currently being tested.
Persons in passive follow-up should not visit the hospital. However, a person may enter the Princess Elizabeth Hospital to visit a patient who is seriously ill if the management of the hospital agrees and if a method statement has been agreed with Public Health.
Everyone is asked to use the hand-gel available on entry and observe hygiene standards. Face coverings are also provided at the hospital entry points.
If you are unsure of what is required of you in order that you can attend the PEH, please get in contact with the PEH/the department you will be attending and they will be happy to explain.
Individual care and residential homes are operating varying safety measures at their own discretion. You will need to contact the home you intend to visit to find out what requirements they have in place.
Anyone feeling unwell in any way is asked not to attend the hospital or any HSC facilities, as well as care homes. Those with clinical appointments that feel unwell should call ahead to discuss their situation.
