Household Waste and Recycling

All public waste and recycling sites are open, for opening times please go to www.gov.gg/wasteopeningtimes.

All kerbside collections continue to operate as normal, however further information is provided in the dropdowns below for anyone who is currently isolating or is living with someone who is isolating. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will be given additional advice by Public Health on what to do with their waste.

Face coverings should be disposed of carefully in a waste bin and not in the recycling. In addition, please do not place any used tissues or paper towels in the recycling. These items cannot be recycled and can spread infections.

If anyone has any further questions they can always contact the Guernsey Waste Team  during normal office hours (8:45am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday) on 01481 221234 or email recycle@gov.gg.

Below is a link to the Waste & Recycling pages on our main website.
