All public waste and recycling sites are open, for opening times please go to www.gov.gg/wasteopeningtimes. Face coverings and social distancing of 2 meters is required at all sites (including at the bring bank sites) and limited numbers are permitted onto the sites at any one time. Therefore we ask that you only come down to sites if absolutely essential, this will help ease traffic delays while restrictions are still in place.
All kerbside collections continue to operate as normal, however further information is provided in the dropdowns below for anyone who is currently isolating or is living with someone who is isolating. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will be given additional advice by Public Health on what to do with their waste.
Face coverings should be disposed of carefully in a waste bin and not in the recycling. In addition, please do not place any used tissues or paper towels in the recycling. These items cannot be recycled and can spread infections.
If anyone has any further questions they can always contact the Guernsey Waste Team during normal office hours (8:45am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday) on 01481 221234 or email email@example.com.
