How to celebrate your birthday at home

This year the way we celebrate the birthdays of our children, friends and loved ones may have to be a little bit different, but you can still celebrate!

It can be disappointing for children when they can’t have a party with their friends and family but it’s a great opportunity to get creative. There are lots of people also celebrating their birthdays at this time who are sharing some fantastic ideas online, (so don’t worry you are not alone!).

Why not take Her Majesty the Queen’s approach and have two birthdays this year? The Queen celebrated her actual birthday, on 21 April, and has an official birthday, which falls on the second Saturday in June.

We know it’s not ideal, but we have collated a few ideas, from cakes to crafts and decorations to digital solutions! Please take care and be sensible so that you stay safe while enjoying yourself. For now here are our top tips for celebrating a birthday!
